Telephone talks held between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Oman

On November 13, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.

During the talks, the sides expressed their commitment to further developing political dialogue, intensifying economic cooperation between the two countries, and expanding Turkmen-Omani cooperation between their foreign ministries.

The effective interaction between Turkmenistan and Oman in authoritative international organizations, primarily the United Nations, was noted.

The interlocutors also also discussed the preparation for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on 12 December of the current year in Ashgabat and will be dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality, and the International Day of Neutrality.
