The polypropylene storage and dispatch terminal is one of the liveliest places in the cargo district in the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port. Summing up the year of 2017, over 60,000 tons of valuable products were shipped. On the average, about 200 tons of granulated petro-chemicals that are of great demand in our country and abroad, are delivered there from the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

The major part of export consignments is shipped to clients by sea. Cargo vessels of different countries arrive to the port to ship the high-quality goods.

At present, in the port, polypropylene is loaded into the holds of the Musa Jalil dry cargo ship of the Russian Federation. Polypropylene packed in valve bags, laid on pallets is transferred from shore to the vessel. Each pallet has 40 bags with a total weight of one ton that significantly facilitates not only the loading works, but also the calculation of the cargo loaded on board. Upon completion of the loading, the Russian motor ship will take to the open sea and ship about two tons of polypropylene, known under the Turkmenpylene brand, to the port of Olya in the Astrakhan region.
