The Ambassador of India express the gratitude to Turkmen leader for the support of work of diplomatic mission

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India Nagendra Prasad who accomplishes his diplomatic mission in our country.
Having expressed the gratitude for spared time, the Ambassador noted that India comprehensively supports the policy of wide international cooperation led by Turkmenistan that is serves as the key factor in promotion of important international initiatives proposed by Turkmen leader for the consolidation of peace, stability and prosperity in regional and global scale.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly appreciated considerable contribution of the diplomat to the consolidation of productive interstate dialog established for the last years and comprehensively meeting the interests of both countries.
During the meeting, the Head of Turkmen state and Indian diplomat exchanged the opinions of different subjects of bilateral cooperation, successful development of which is supported by similarity or proximity of the positions of both countries in the key aspects of international and regional politics, their intent to the expansion of traditional trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian relations.
It was noted that recently, Turkmen – Indian partnership entered new level meeting the interests of both countries, which is indicated by achieved agreements and visual successes in realization of large-scale joint projects where special place is occupied the construction of transnational gas main Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India. Realization of TAPI project initiated by Turkmen leader will give strong impulse to economic growth of the countries in the region, to closer and more constructive dialog for the interests of universal peace, security and sustainable development.
It was highlighted that trustful character of the relations based on the similarity of historical and cultural sources allows forming up new directions for bilateral cooperation. In this context, the importance of further activation of the exchange in humanitarian sphere for study of historical and cultural heritage of Turkmen and Indian nations was highlighted. The special mention was made of the perspectivity of the partnership in scientific and educational sphere and modern information technologies.
The Ambassador of India, having expressed sincere gratitude to Turkmen leader for the support in work of his diplomatic mission for all these years, said that he would always remember Turkmenistan where he witnessed the great transformations with special feeling.
In the end of the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ambassador Nagendra Prasad expressed the confidence that traditionally friendly Turkmen – Indian relations would continue to be successfully developed for the sake of both countries.
