Turkmen – Chinese scientific cooperation to be activated

It is planned to hold II Turkmen – Chinese scientific and innovative forum in the People’s Republic of China in 2018, to organize working training of Turkmen specialists in scientific institutions of the PRC and to establish joint information project, the website dedicated to bilateral relations in this sphere. It was informed on the session of the Government on October 19. 

For establishment of contacts, exchange of the experience and useful practices, the scientists from our country have been invited to work on the zoning of districts in active seismic regions of China while Chinese specialists to joint development of the technologies for production of rare chemical elements (lithium, rubidium, caesium, boron and other) from industrial associated waters at oil and gas fields of Turkmenistan. Collaboration of the specialists of two countries in the projects at Garlyk Ore Dressing Complex and in livestock farming sphere has been defined among perspective directions. 

Number of specific proposals are related to alternative energy. These are the development of nanostructure semiconducting organic and non-organic photo elements and photo detectors, innovative technologies for industrial growth of water micro plants, creation of waste-free, autonomous helium biological complex. There are some interesting ideas in cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, innovative methods of growing mushrooms for food and pharmacological purposes, in the sphere of improvement of efficiency of farming and agricultural production. 

The Head of the State noted that it is necessary to continue Turkmen - Chinese dialog started in this sphere and to form relative legal and organizational platform for it, having provided the Government support and attracting business structures to invest joint projects and to making of high technology productions.
