Presidents of Turkmenistan and Pakistan concretised priority spheres of interaction

President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain will take part in the opening ceremony of the 5th AIMAG President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain who arrived in our country for participation in celebrations devoted to the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games. 

The Turkmen leader warmly welcomed the honoured guest. Presidents of two countries were photographed in front of the national flags of Turkmenistan and Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Then the conversation between heads of two states took place. 

Having stated sincere gratitude for the accorded hearty welcome, the honoured guest underlined that Pakistan highly appreciates the policy of openness and good neighbourhood of Turkmenistan in which basis principles of positive neutrality are put and, from its part, henceforth intends to promote in every possible way development of traditionally friendly mutual relations which have found a new dynamics and content in recent years. 

The head of the state, having thanked President Mamnoon Hussain for his personal participation in the opening ceremony of the 5th AIMAG, underlined that Turkmenistan considers Pakistan as a key partner in the context of enhancement of cooperation with the countries of Southern Asia. 

The President of Pakistan, taking an opportunity, congratulated the Turkmen leader on the wonderful organisation of the «Ashgabad-2017». As was noted, similar actions, certainly, are not limited to regional scales, promoting strengthening of friendly international relations, mutual understanding and trust between the countries and people at global level. 

President Mamnoon Hussain noted an exclusive urgency of the international initiatives put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aimed at creation of a strong basis for the steady peace in the third millennium. As was underlined, constructive offers of independent neutral Turkmenistan on complex, all round approach to the solution of actual issues of mankind with every passing year find an increasing support in world circles. 

Throughout the meeting the exchange of opinions on priority directions of Turkmen-Pakistan cooperation took place, a reliable basis for which agreements made at top levels in recent years serve to bring them to a qualitatively new level. 

With satisfaction marking prompt dynamics of bilateral partnership, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Mamnoon Hussain were unanimous in opinion that confidential character of interstate relations allows Turkmenistan and Pakistan actively to explore new directions of cooperation, the basis of which are productive interaction in different spheres, including trade and economic, fuel and energy, building, agriculture and others. 

Marking available impressive potential for the further intensification of partnership, leaders of Turkmenistan and Pakistan ascertained mutual readiness to provide success of the building of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India. The President of Turkmenistan noticed that conduction of corresponding works on construction along this gas pipeline of energy power infrastructure and optic fibre communication line, motor and railway roads is equitable to interests of two people. 

Along with it, the head of the state and his guest supported the deepening of traditional interaction in the humanitarian sphere, including culture, sports and tourism for joint actions and exchange of experience in the given areas.
