The President of Turkmenistan is commended with the highest award of Moldova – the Order of the Repblic

Ceremonial award of Turkmen Leader with the highest award of Moldova – the Order of the Republic took place after the meeting of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon.

Presenting the award Igor Dodon Said: 

Esteemed Mr President! Let me express the gratitude on behalf of the people and the Government of Moldova for that large-scale work that you do for consolidation of our bilateral relations. The people of Moldova is grateful for the help your rendered in solution of some social issues. As a sign of deep respect and our friendship, kindly accept the highest award of our country from the people of Moldova. 

In his return speech, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said: 

Let me express deep gratitude for such high award. Of course, I first of all accept this award as a sign of respect and gratitude to Turkmen people for consolidation of friendly traditions, for high level of Turkmen – Moldavian relations, which are developed both in bilateral and multilateral formats. 

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed the gratitude on behalf of Turkmen people for the opportunity to build an important social facility in ATU Gagauzia that was named Dostluk (Friendship) and expressed the confidence that cooperation of two fraternal nations would be consolidated and developed. 

The Order of the Republic is the highest State award of Moldova, which is commended fr special merits in all spheres. 

Members if the delegation of the Republic of Moldova, members of the Government of Turkmenistan, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies, media representatives took part in the ceremony.
