Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the PRC with the Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade

On July 24, 2025, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People’s Republic of China between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan and the Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

At the beginning of the meeting, Chinese side invited Turkmen side to take  part in the 5th Baketu Forum, which will take place on September 25, 2025, at the Central Asia Cultural Exchange Center in the city of Tacheng, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), China.

The Forum is jointly organized by the People’s Government of Tacheng Prefecture and the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (CICPMC).

Special attention was given to the significance of the participation of Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, in regional integration initiatives and sustainable development processes.

In turn, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the host side for the invitation and informed the participants of the meeting about the Turkmenistan’s foreign policy and the upcoming international events with the participation of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere. Both sides reaffirmed their interest in further developing relations and strengthening practical cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the Chines side was presented with the chinese tranlations of the books “The Spiritual World of Turkmens” by the President of the Turkmenistan, as well as a collection of selected poems by the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi published in honour of his 300th anniversary.
