CNH Industrial expresses interest in widening cooperation with Turkmenistan

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received General Manager & Chief Operating Officer-APAC at CNH Industrial Mr. Stefano Pampalone. 

Thanking for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest underlined the constructiveness of the foreign-policy cooperation built in Turkmenistan on the principles of the ‘open-door’ policy. Mr. Stefano Pampalone noted that CNH Industrial expressed the interest in widening cooperation with our country that possesses huge resources and economic potential. 

Greeting the businessman, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the fruitful character of the bilateral business relations. The Turkmen leader noted that steadily implementing the strategy of fundamental changes, our country paid particular attention to expanding international collaboration and attracting the best world practices. 

During the meeting, the guest familiarized the President of Turkmenistan with the new areas of work of CNH Industrial that ranks among the leading developers and suppliers of the construction and agricultural equipment. Exchanging the views, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the representative of the company that has successfully worked with our country for more than 25 years, discussed the possibilities of implementing joint investment projects in various sectors of economy. Stefano Pampalone put forward a number of specific proposals given the priorities of Turkmenistan’s development. 

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that food security stood as one of the important aspects of Turkmenistan’s development strategy and noted that particular attention at present is paid to the modernization of the agro-industrial industry, its material and technical basis, including the supply of the most advanced transport facilities. The Turkmen leader noted that wide opportunities for further cooperation opened up in this direction. 

Moreover, significant attention is also paid to training o highly qualified specialists for the agro-industrial complex in the industry-specific institutions of higher education in the country. The specialized training centre with all necessary conditions for modern equipment training was opened in the Turkmen Agricultural Institute in Dashoguz. 

The President underlined that the compliance of agricultural equipment with the local soil and climate conditions of our country, high quality, flexibility and reliability of the equipment ranked among the main requirements to ensure the engineering support of the agro-industrial complex. 

The businessman in his turn emphasized that the company that he represents was proud of the credence given and would take the very responsible approach to fulfill its partner commitments.
