AMBASSADOR OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA TO TURKMENISTAN PRESENTED COPIES OF HIS CREDENTIALS

On October 21, 2019, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Turkmenistan (with the residence in Tehran), Mr. Samir Veladziç, who arrived in Ashgabat to present his credentials.

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties expressed their commitment to the development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations. Having discussed issues of further development of partnership between the two countries, the parties noted the possibility of holding political consultations between the countries. In addition, the intensification of multilateral cooperation was noted. In this context, the parties considered the issues of the development of cooperation with the UN and other authoritative international organizations.

During the negotiations, talking about trade and economic relations, the parties considered the possibility of exchanging business delegations. Mutual interest in the development of relations in the field of cultural and humanitarian interaction was also expressed.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented copies of his credentials. Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to this important position, the Turkmen side wished him success in his new assignment.
