Design and estimate documentation on provision of the necessary facilities for 214-kilometer section of TAPI gas main is under completion

More than a year ago, the structure of the State Concern Turkmengas was supplemented with Turkmengas Engineering and Construction department, which specialists involved in development of production and technical facilities of gas pipelines, project and survey, geodesic and exploration works. 
The specialists of the department have already developed project design for 73-kilometer section of future gas pipeline of the Turkmen part of interstate Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India gas main. It is planned to develop design and estimate documentation on provision of the necessary facilities for 214-kilometer section for all works on the territory of Turkmenistan by the end of this April. The specialists selected the plots for construction of future infrastructure facilities. All necessary engineering communications like gas, water, power supplies, road and other ground facilities to these sites are under project development.

The specialists of Turkmengas Engineering and Construction department, using their own capabilities, carried out installation of technological equipment like valves, control instruments and piping of the wellhead with 2 million cubic meters of gas per day of production capacity. All works were executed at No. 280 production well of the giant Galkynysh field. After installation of the equipment and control instruments at neighbouring wells Nos. 296 and 305, all three of them will be connected to export gas system. 
After mastering of modern technologies for equipment installation and welding of special pipes, the specialists of the department will replace foreign colleagues who performed these works previously on contractual terms.
