The 2nd stage of the Year of Culture of Turkmenistan in China was held in Xi'an

From April 10 to 11, 2025, cultural events dedicated to the 2nd stage of the Year of Culture of Turkmenistan in China were held in Xi’an. A group of art representatives led by the director of the Magtymguly Musical and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan visited Xi'an to participate in musical performances at events held at the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Center Theater.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Governor of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province Xu Mingfei, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Shaanxi Province Gao Yang, as well as representatives of departments of Shaanxi Province, businessmen, heads of higher education institutions located in Xi'an, and students studying in Xi'an.

The events dedicated to the 2nd stage of the Year of Culture were accompanied by a photo exhibition that reveals the history, modernity, culture, traditions, economic development of Turkmenistan, the beauty of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.

The concert was preceded by a literary and musical composition «Türkmen ilinden salam» performed by masters of culture and art of Turkmenistan, during which the song «Ýaşasyn parahat durmuş» was performed in Chinese.

The concert featured folk songs combined with folklore performances from both countries.

At the end of the event, the song «Parahatlyk bagty Sizde Milli Lider Gahryman Arkadagymyz» was performed jointly by all participants.

The high-level events of the 2nd stage of the Year of Culture of Turkmenistan in China with the participation of about 500 guests became evidence of the strengthening of Turkmen-Chinese relations in the field of culture.
