The Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Turkmenistan presented copies of his credentials

On December 9, 2024, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Astana) Jaap Ora, who presented copies of his credentials.

A.Gurbanov congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible post and expressed the readiness of the Turkmen side to provide assistance and support in the implementation of his diplomatic activities.

The parties then discussed the agenda of Turkmen-Estonian relations. It was noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Estonia is developing on the basis of the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership.

The diplomats discussed prospects for expanding relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

An exchange of views also took place on current issues on the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
